Our webcast services
Webcasts are a great way of driving traffic to and increasing coverage for, a business, organisation or product.
From our television studio we can stream a live interactive filmed discussion allowing viewers to submit questions to our panel of experts both before and during the event.
In partnership with digital agencies we have over time built up a syndication network of partner websites including national newspapers and key personal finance portals.
This allows us to target specific audiences according to topic area.
In addition you can broadcast your discussion to a targeted group of your own, such as employees, shareholders or customers.
For those who couldn't make the live event there is on-demand footage available.
We broadcast content on a variety of subjects although with our existing clients this tends to be finance-related; discussing matters such as investments, pensions, insurance & property for a variety of clients such as Scottish Widows, Lloyds TSB, M&S Money, LV=, AT&T Williams, NSPCC, The Share Centre, HiFX, KPMG, Société Générale, Savills, FSA, Hargreaves Lansdown, PayPal, Yvette Cooper MP, Unbiased & MoneySupermarket.com...
Taking place over the course of a half hour; the niche nature of the subject matter makes for rich content which is especially attractive to content hungry newspapers and portals including: Orange, The Independent, AOL, MSN, Reuters, MyFinances, The Daily Telegraph, This Is Money, Sky & What Investment...
Webcasts vs Webchats
This is similar to a webcast except it is a text based discussion rather than a television style event.
Consequently there is no audio. Instead answers from your experts are conveyed via a transcript that appears below a static, webcam image of the guests.
This method of communicating directly with stakeholders is more relaxed and “safer” because of the ability to proof read answers before they are transmitted.
Pros of webchats:
- Less expensive to setup & run in terms of staffing, bandwidth & studio resources.
- More relaxed; no media training required.
- Text transcript can be download as pdf subsequent to the webchat
- Questions from the online audience drive the discussion
- Answers can be proof read by company advisers before being published making for “safer” content
Pros of webcasts:
- High quality audio & video
- Preferred format for content partners
- On-demand & podcast delivery
